Feats are little abilities that make exceptions to standard rules.

A Feat writeup consists of these:

• Name
• Categories: Some feats are for example Combat oriented or Magic related.
• Prerequisites (if any)
• Effect: What a feat does
• Normal situation: (left out in cases where a feat grants a flat bonus or similar primitive changes)
• Special section: Some Feats may have some uncommon trait. Normally a feat cannot be taken twice, but some can.

• Many feats now have different prerequisites compared to their original writeup - those lists were often needlessly long.
• Also some Feats were simplified to avoid unnecessary bookkeeping
• Stronger Feats now are tied to the number of Hit Dice or Class Levels a character must have. There are 1st lvl, 4th lvl and 8th lvl feats
